IMMACULATA, PA. -- Immaculata gave Gwynedd Mercy a 1-0 defeat in the Griffins' final game of the season.
The CSAC matchup saw the Mighty Macs (7-9-2, 6-3-2 CSAC) net the game's only goal in the final minute of the first half as Barbara Stanley connected off a corner kick.
The Griffins outshot IU, 9-7, and held a 6-2 corner kick advantage, but could not get on the scoreboard. It was the ninth time this season GM has been held without a goal.

Diamond Devereaux (Oreland, Pa./Springfield) made her first career start in goal, recording two saves. Meghan McCurnin also made two stops, but got her defense to save a shot from senior
Maura Gifford (North Wales, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) in the 66th minute.
It was the final game for Gifford along with seniors
