BOX SCORE

ROSEMONT, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy's playoff push took a hit as the Griffins fell, 3-2, at Rosemont on Tuesday afternoon.

Junior Ryan Roedel (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) netted a pair of goals, but Gwynedd (5-11-1, 1-5 CSAC) lost their fifth game in their last six. With three games remaining, the Griffins will look to win out to try and cement a playoff spot.

After Gwynedd went up 1-0 in the seventh minute as Roedel put in a goal off a corner kick, Rosemont's Luke McIlvaine scored twice in the first half and again for the natural hat trick in the 51st minute in the second.

The Griffins caught a break as the Ravens were awarded a red card and had to play a man down. With 19:47 left Roedel added his second on the day with an assist from Trevor Sotell (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson).

Greg Gengaro (Bloomsbury, N.J./Phillipsburg) made two saves in goal. Max McDonald recorded five saves for Rosemont (3-12, 2-5 CSAC).

Gwynedd Mercy will host Keystone on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. as part of their Senior Day festivities.
