GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Neumann's Tben Donnie scored 2:16 into overtime to snap Gwynedd Mercy's five game unbeaten streak as the Knights prevailed, 1-0, in a Colonial States Athletic Conference game.

Despite being outshot, 11-1, the Griffins (4-7-1, 0-1 CSAC) kept things very close defensively. Sophomore goalie Greg Gengaro (Bloomsbury, N.J./Phillipsburg) made four saves, including a big one with 17 minutes left in regulation.

In the overtime period, Dan Chrashewsky set up Donnie with a through pass into the box where he was able to beat Gengaro.

The Knights (6-2-2, 2-0 CSAC) now have won three in a row. The Griffins came in on a 4-0-1 stretch before the defeat.

Gwynedd Mercy will return to action on Saturday, when they travel to Cabrini in a noon start.
