ASTON, PA. – Gwynedd-Mercy fell at the hands of Neumann, 3-1, in CSAC action Wednesday night.

Junior Dan Panepresso (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) netted the goal for the Griffins (2-8, 1-1 CSAC). Andy Attah added a pair of first-half goals for the Knights (4-3-2, 1-0 CSAC).

Gwynedd had eight shots compared to Neumann's 21 on the evening.

Goalie Matt Chilcote (Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley) made 10 saves in net. His counterpart, Alex Lacko recorded one.

Attah made it 1-0 in the 15th minute before Panepresso answered with his third tally of the year in the 22nd.

The Griffins were penalized for a foul in the box right before halftime and Attah struck again, converting on a penalty kick at the 43:44 mark.

The Knights would add another score in the 70th minute of the second to widen the deficit.

Gwynedd-Mercy will host Rosemont on Saturday in a conference matchup beginning at 3 p.m.
