ASTON, PA. – Gwynedd-Mercy and Neumann needed extra time but the teams played to a scoreless draw Thursday night.

Freshman goalie Jess Tadley (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) made a season-high 11 saves, including three in the second overtime, to earn her second-straight shutout.

The Griffins (3-4-1, 1-0-1 CSAC), who were outshot, 21-10, and had just one in the second half and extra time, used a strong defensive effort to pick up a point in the conference standings.

Senior Meghan Bojanowski (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert) had team-high three shots.

Briana King recorded five saves for the Knights (2-3-1, 0-0-1 CSAC).

Gwynedd-Mercy will continue conference play with a game at Rosemont this Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
