BOX SCORE

IMMACULATA, PA. – Freshman Rich Mychack (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) netted the game-tying goal with just 24 seconds in regulation to force overtime where Gwynedd-Mercy and Immaculata played to a 1-1 draw.

With the tie, the Griffins (6-11-2, 2-4-2 CSAC) remain alive for a playoff berth. They'll end the regular season on Saturday with a big conference game at Centenary and will need either a loss from Cairn or Keystone to capture one of the two postseason spots.

The Mighty Macs grabbed an early lead on a goal in the game's first minute, but the offense for both teams went stagnant. IU had four of the six shots and all three corner kicks in the stanza.

In the second, Gwynedd was able to put together eight shots and eight corner kicks to try and find the equalizer. It took them over 89 minutes to do so as Mychack would score his second big goal in as many games as he was able to put home a loose ball in the box after an indirect kick. On Saturday, Mychack scored what proved to be the game-winner in a 1-0 win over Cairn.

Freshman goalie Greg Gengaro (Bloomsbury, N.J./Phillipsburg) made five saves, including one in the second overtime. Chris Raudabaugh recorded seven stops for IU.
