BOX SCORE

BRYN ATHYN, PA. -- Four second-half goals helped cement a 5-0 road win at Bryn Athyn on Monday to help the Griffins put an end to an eight-game losing streak.

Sophomore Nick Keba (Bensalem, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) and Trevor Sotell (Cinnaminson, N.J./Paul VI) each had two scores while Tim Stahl (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) converted on a penalty kick to account for the Griffin goals.

Things were scoreless until the 35th minute when Keba made it 1-0 on an unassisted tally where it stayed until the second half.

That's when the offense picked up as the Griffins (2-8) had 22 of their 32 shots in the game.

The duo of Mike Leonard (Glen Mills, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) and Tom Reed (Croydon, Pa./Conwell-Egan) combined for three saves in the shutout.

Gwynedd returns to action on Wednesday when they play at Philadelphia Biblical in CSAC action starting at 4 p.m.
