GLENSIDE, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy was on the wrong end of a 5-0 defeat at Arcadia Wednesday afternoon.

The Griffins (0-5-1) were credited with just five shots in the game and found itself down 2-0 quickly in the first 13 minutes of the contest as the Knight's Alex Davis scored two times in that span. Arcadia would add another with 1:16 left in the stanza, putting GM in a 3-0 haltime hole.

Goals in the 63nd and 82nd minute helped cement the outcome.

Senior goalie Abby Reed (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) made 13 saves.

Gwynedd-Mercy opens CSAC play this weekend when they host Marywood in a conference tilt starting at noon.
