DOYLESTOWN, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy dropped a 4-1 decision at Delaware Valley keeping the Grififns from securing their first win on the season.

Senior Kasey Reid (Mercerville, N.J./Steinert) tallied the lone GM goal in the 55th minute, but GM (0-4-1) found itself in a 2-0 hole to start the second half.

Kirstyn Varas (Essington, Pa./Interboro) made her first career start in goal, with the senior totaling 10 saves in the loss.

Dana Gentile scored two goals and added two assists for the Aggies (4-1).

The teams combined for 35 shots and 16 corners kicks.

The Griffins will give it another go on Wednesday when they play at Arcadia at 4 p.m.
