GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy fell to CSAC opponent Centenary College 4-0 Saturday afternoon as GM is now winless in its last three contests.

The Griffins (2-8-2, 2-2-1 CSAC) were unable to build any momentum falling behind early to the Cyclones on a goals by Tatiana Kingston and Sarah Smith giving Centenary a 2-0 lead heading into halftime and the Griffins where never able to bounce back. 

Courtney Flanagan and Samantha Sysak added two more in the second half keeping Centenary undefeated in league play.

The Griffins where led by Senior Kasey Reid (Mercerville, N.J./Steinert) with three shots and Sophmore Maura Gifford (North Wales, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) with two.

Centenary (6-3-1, 4-0-1 CSAC) outsout the Griffins, 18-9.  However, Gwynedd-Mercy was able to pressure offensively, holding an advantage in corner kicks, 6-2.

Senior goalie Abby Reed (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) had seven saves in today's contest.  Her counterpart Alyssa Hackelberg had three to record the shutout.

The Griffins will travel to Baptist Bible College Thursday at 4:15pm in a makeup of an earlier contest that was postponed due to poor weather conditions.
