GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Keystone scored 1:27 into overtime to send Gwynedd-Mercy to a 1-0 CSAC defeat on Tuesday.

Senior goalie Mike Leonard (Glen Mills, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) made 10 saves in net, and made all 10 of them count, keeping the Giants scoreless in regulation.

Ryan Ehrhardt ended it early in the extra session as his shot just inside the box beat a diving Leonard.

It stayed scoreless in the first half as Leonard made a string of three spectacular saves in a row as the Griffins (3-10, 1-2 CSAC) had trouble clearing its own zone. He would make yet another key stop late in the second stanza.

The Giants threatened with 17 minutes left with a shot that hit the left post.

Keystone (2-4-1, 1-1-1 CSAC) outshot GM, 21-9, for the game.

Gwynedd-Mercy will look to rebound on Saturday when they travel to Marywood in a conference clash starting at 1 p.m.
