GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- With a 1-0 loss to the hands of Marywood Tuesday night, Gwynedd-Mercy's playoff push was dealt a serious blow.

Now the Griffins (2-6 CSAC, 3-15 overall) need to win on Saturday at Keystone and get a little help to qualify for the CSAC Tournament.

The Pacers (13-4, 7-1 CSAC) used a second half goal from Brian Wasser to account for the game's only score.

Goalie John Furphy (Philadelphia, Pa./Cardinal Dougherty) notched six saves on the night. He was under duress all evening as GM was outshot, 20-5.

Saturday will close out the regular season as Gwynedd will play at Keystone, beginning at 1 p.m.
