Bradley Hat Trick Garners AEC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week Award

Lancaster, Pa. – (11/3/2025) – Gwynedd Mercy University senior forward Kira Bradley (Langhorne, Pa.) made her third weekly league report of the season, but celebrated her first Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Women’s Soccer Player of the Week award after recording a hat trick (11:40, 43:11, 50:02) in the Griffins’ 7-1 regular season finale victory over Centenary University (N.J.) (Oct. 29). The performance solidified Bradley as the conference’s regular season leader in goals (17); she finished the regular season with 42 points (4 assists).

Bradley was joined on the AEC Women’s Soccer Weekly Report by the Defensive Player of the Week, Marywood University graduate defender Britlyn Higgins (Fort Worth, Texas), Saint Elizabeth University senior midfielder Chelsea Sarmiento (New Brunswick, N.J.), as well as Marymount University freshman midfielder Arianna Blanco (Manassas Park, Va.) and sophomore goalkeeper Sarah Robinson (Mechanicsville, Pa.).

Gwynedd Mercy University (9-8-1, 3-4) got on the scoreboard first versus Centenary University (4-10-3, 1-6) as Samantha Winco (Chalfont, Pa.) scored the first Red and Gold goal  just 3:02 minutes into the game; 1-0 (3:02). The Cyclones returned the favor 33 seconds later (1-1, 3:35), but the tally was only a footnote on a 7-1 Griffin victory. Bradley delivered the go-ahead goal, and eventual game-winner, in the 12th minute (2-1, 11:40). From there, Gwynedd Mercy University insured their win with additional tallies in the 34th (3-1, 33:49), 39th (4-1, 38:16), 44th (5-1, 43:11), 51st (6-1, 50:02), and 71st (7-1, 70:01) minutes; Bradley rounded out her hat trick with Griffin goals in the 44th and 51st minutes. She finished the contest with a team-high seven shots.

Following their 4-2 AEC First Round victory over #4 Pratt Institute, #5 Gwynedd Mercy University will visit #1 Marywood University for a 7:00 p.m. semifinal on Tuesday, November 4.
