O’Neill Earns Spot on AEC Women’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll
 
Lancaster, Pa. – (12/5/2022) – Gwynedd Mercy University junior forward Natalie O’Neill (Philadelphia, Pa.) was named to the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Women’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for her play in the Griffins’ recent 101-62 victory over Penn State Berks. O’Neill recorded her third career double-double – and first of the 2022-2023 season - in the win over the Nittany Lions as she paired her 10 points with 10 rebounds.
 
The 39-point triumph was Gwynedd Mercy University’s (5-1) third consecutive win and O’Neill’s fourth as the Griffins’ rebounding leader. She has recorded at least 10 rebounds in four of six contests so far this season and grabbed six of her 10 rebounds versus Penn State Berks (0-4) on the offensive glass. O’Neill also made four field goals (4-of-14, .286) and a pair of free throws (2-of-2, 1.000), while making two assists and two steals in the affair.
 
Gwynedd Mercy University returns to action on Monday, December 5, when they host Salisbury University for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
