Jackie Dougherty Varas, who graduated in 2007 with a degree in Radiation Therapy Technology, was a three-time all-conference selection including two first-team honors in her sophomore and junior seasons. She was a big part of the team's back-to-back conference championships (2006, 2007). Dougherty ranks eighth on the program's all-time scoring list (1,128) and is one of 13 players to surpass 1,000 career points. In her four years as a Griffin, the team compiled a record of 93-23 overall and an impressive 61-3 conference mark.
