ASTON, PA. -- The Colonial States Athletic Conference has named 572 student-athletes to the 2014-15 Winter/Spring All-Academic Team. The CSAC All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher during their semester(s) of competition, while using a full season of eligibility as determined by the NCAA.
The total of 572 student-athletes honored surpasses last year's winter/spring total by 35 student-athletes.
Gwynedd Mercy had a total of 56 student-athletes recognized from the following sports: Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Men's Lacrosse, Women's Lacrosse, and Men's Tennis.
"Each one of these student-athletes should be commended," said CSAC Commissioner Jennifer Dubow. "It is great to see that so many have excelled not only athletically, but also academically. These student-athletes truly demonstrate the NCAA Division-III philosophy of enjoying a full collegiate experience, and they more than deserve this recognition."
