Olivia Bradford added 13 while junior
Nicole Dombrowski chipped in 10 as GMercyU (8-2) took advantage of their trips to the free-throw line in the final two quarters, going 16-of-18 over the final 20 minutes and 10-for-12 in the fourth stanza.
Points were at a premium in the first quarter as each team had three field goals apiece. Gwynedd would score the first seven points of the game over the initial 3:44 of the quarter. Kucowski's triple staked the Griffins to a 7-0 lead, but it would be the final field goal of the period. After

The second quarter paralleled the first as the teams looked to shake off the collective offensive rust. King's would take an 18-16 edge into halftime.
In the third, the Griffins made their move and took the lead for good. Back-to-back field goals from Kucowski and Dombrowski pushed GMercy ahead 32-28 midway in the quarter before a three-pointer from Casey Seitz pulled King's back within one. Gwynedd would hold the Monarchs scoreless over the final 3:54 and would lead 36-31 after three.
The fourth saw the Griffins go on a 7-0 run over the first half of the stanza to take a double-digit lead (43-33) and help secure the win.
Seitz finished with six points for King's (8-3) while teammate Jennifer Fabian had 11 off the bench.
