ASTON, PA. -- The Colonial States Athletic Conference has named 561 student-athletes to the 2013-14 Winter/Spring All-Academic Team. The CSAC All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher during their semester(s) of competition, while using a full season of eligibility as determined by the NCAA.
The total of 561 student-athletes honored surpasses last year's winter/spring total by 80 student-athletes.
Over 45 student-athletes comprised of men's basketball, women's basketball, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, baseball, softball, and men's tennis squads were celebrated.
"Each one of these student-athletes should be commended," said CSAC Commissioner Jennifer Dubow. "It is great to see that so many have excelled not only athletically, but also academically. These student-athletes truly demonstrate the NCAA Division-III philosophy of enjoying a full collegiate experience, and they more than deserve this recognition."
Immaculata and Marywood led all institutions with 76 honorees apiece, with Neumann (66), Cabrini (65) and Cairn (63) rounding out the top five.

Peter Brzezinski of Gwynedd Mercy.
